Do not use Equisul-SDT® in horses intended for human consumption. EQUISUL-SDT is contraindicated in horses with a known allergy to sulfadiazine, sulfonamide class antimicrobials, or trimethoprim. Not for use in humans. For use in animals only. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. Avoid direct contact of the product with the skin, eyes, mouth, and clothing. Persons with a known sensitivity to sulfonamides or trimethoprim should avoid exposure to this product. Consult a physician in the case of accidental human exposure. Adverse events observed in animals included loose stool, colic, and diarrhea. For complete safety information, refer to the product label.
